Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid gathered religious, cultural and social voices to mark diversity and coexistence. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can strengthen coexistence. In the discussion, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, Scientology emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
